And at the end of the day will say I wish I hadn't bothered.
Rather than starting with a bang (as per the French) it isn't much more than a damp squib with 6 handicaps and four ordinary looking condition races. Same story tomorrow.
Fortunately, we do have the two french classics on an otherwise poor card at Deauville.

Totally agree.
Watching this calibre of racing is what has led people to being jaded about uk racing
We've had a refreshing break and are eager but I reckon at about 3pm we'll be bored again!
