In my area, all the pubs with large outdoor areas have been doing this for a few weeks anyway with no police hindrance.

You should be reflecting on the magnificent entrepreneurial spirit of these sons of Norman Tebbit.

Why don’t pubs do this in outdoor areas?

Because we have a stupid Government! They do not have a clue!

I have been meeting mates for six weeks now. We started outside the pub but  were politely asked if we would move on by the Po Po so we did and found somewhere really pleasant for drinking in the sun by the water.

Fresh air for our health, the sun providing free Vitamin D to boost immune systems, talking with friends to save our mental elf.

I should be the Health Minister, I know more than him on how to keep safe, healthy and save lives. We are also drinking good beer for less than £2 a pint and fine wines for less than £35 a bottle and I am currently funded by the tax payer. Maybe I should be The Chancellor too!

As far as I know none of the pub toilets are open and the local authority toilets are shut so bushes and back alleys must be in high demand.

The key to out door drinking is the suitability of of outdoor toilets or bushes as we call them! I would not piss in the street. There is no reason why toilets could not be opened! More dumfukkery from a stupid Government that cannot be trusted to put their Y fronts on the right way. Thank God C and A are no more!

I suppose the argument would be that if public toilets were opened everywhere it would encourage virus spreaders to congregate and drink near them.

Surely any potential virus spreader will have been contacted by the Track and Trace team and will be dutifully isolating at for 14 days. In my neck of the woods public toilets are closed not in case something might be caught from the toilet seat but because the exit handle might not be safe . Well in the event that someone did sneeze/gob on the handle , then use a cloth or tissue to open it . But that would require someone to take responsibility for themselves.

There are very few Socialists here WD.

I live in one of the safest Tory seats in the country, Whittingdale MP. Next door constituency is the big Billy Priti Patel.
