USB Bluetooth dongle. I bought one from pounds. Yrs ago. Worked. On ebay they can be more expensive.

You dont want a bluetooth dongle, you want a wifi dongle.

Remember, of course, that wifi signals generally travel better horizontally than vertically.
As a consequence of your router being downstairs, the signal strength will be stronger downstairs than it is upstairs. There are various options available to help with this, but just something to be aware of. |

Be aware that wifi is less secure than internet via ethernet cable. So, it's less wise to do things like online banking on wifi.
