WTF is wrong with that country that there is any doubt or delay that that cop straight out killed him? I cannot understand how it's possible that that cop who killed him isn't sitting in a cell at the moment.

He was handcuffed face down with two people on his back, and he kneeled for 5 minutes on his neck until, surprise surprise he died.

The stupidity of the mob never ceases to amaze me. They burn their own shops and communities down. At least in France they shut The Champs Elysees at weekend for months causing major aggro to the lives of the rich.

The authorities have had to put a guard around the house of the scum cop who killed Floyd. The cop and his family probably aren’t there but it is good to know he is living in fear for his life and maybe he will know how Floyd felt before he died.

If I was one of that underclass I think I would burn down big malls and attack police cars with rocks whenever there was a good opportunity. I would want the cops to live in fear of their lives not only when they were in uniform but when they went home because people knew a cop lived in the property.

I think in Hong Kong the Police have to be barracked together for their own safety. Hong Kong people will have to face down the might of the State soon. They will have to be a lot smarter than the looters in Minneapolis. If you loot your own you are as much a scum as the murderous cop. The other thing I do not understand is how they just stood their and watched a man be murdered in front of them. Nobody even threw a rock. To be fair to Trump he just said these were very good people and the authorities should sit down and listen to them.

His death was awful and totally unjustified and the 4 officers have been sacked, but if it was in their restraint procedures that you're allowed to kneel on someones neck for so long, then really they are just the sacrificial lambs in this.
Totally agree that some of the police are indeed racist but don't think these rioting thugs do their cause any favours with their actions last few days. Same as the riots in Britain years ago, one man killed by police(a well known drug dealer and gangster), and everyone comes out to burn and loot every shop down, even people who never knew him or anything about him. Ended up as just an excuse to help themselves to anyone elses property.

As a matter of interest does anybody know if the Cops get tested for drugs? I would imagine half of them are on steroids and the other half on burgers. I really think steroid abuse could be part of the reason for over aggressive behaviour by many of these policemen, not just the racist cops.

There was a clip yesterday of a kid down on a lawn surrounded by approx 8 cops with their guns on him. He'd run a stop sign but the kid was clearly terrified, unarmed and complying but the cops just stood off aiming their guns. What level of racism and cowardice is involved here that you can't just plainly see he's complying and you carefully approach and put him in handcuffs and move on. It was almost like they were desperate for him to twitch and give them an excuse.

I wonder at times what the laws are here. I remember as a kid that by law we did not have to give the Police our name and address. I am not sure if that has changed. I don't know if a policeman tells you to stand over there if you have to comply. If a policeman tells you to stop do you have to stop? I was under the impression they police by consent and did not have many more powers than an ordinary civilian.

There were plenty of white rioters and looters. Same here in 2011 when a wrong'un was executed by the Police imho probably unlawfully but I shed no tear for him. I watched the riots unfold with amazement. the cops just stood back and took whatever that particular crowd did. They allowed the crowd to throw stones and did not react.

In the UK last year, there were 9 white youths murdered aged 16-24, and 25 over 54.  There were 48 black youths murderd aged 16-24 and only 3 over 54. 

87% of the country is white and only 3% black.  That means in the 16-24 age group you were somewhere in the region of 464 times more likely to be murdered if you are black than white!

No one would commit murder whilst wearing a working bodycam and also being filmed by the public. It seems excessive force was used. The duration of the force is what I find confusing. To restrain someone whilst backup is called yes but 10 minutes with three colleagues present seems strange. What’s comes around goes around as they say and I suspect if the Floyd had been a decent citizen this incident would never of arisen.

I just heard a woman on tv explain what she said to her son. Do whatever the policeman says even if you are in the right and come home to me.

The kid got stopped by a copper for a moving violation. The kid says he was bang to rights, in the wrong. The copper tapped on his car window with a Tazer. This was a teenage kid. He was insured and taxed. The copper said you were lucky this time!

The police in USA can train for a few weeks before they patrol. Overy here they train them well. It's a cowboy society. Everyone with a weapon. They burn out. Treat people with distain. It happens in many jobs. The worst job must be cleaning up traffic ffatalities. I worked with a guy who got decapitated. All this builds up and explodes in violence. Saying that.
