Ian Blackford under fire after travelling 600 miles to Skye DURING coronavirus lockdown

IAN BLACKFORD is under fire after emerged the SNP MP travelled 600 miles from London to his home in Skye during the UK wide lockdown

...... Jack Montgomery, head of Leave.EU during the Brexit referendum, tweeted: "Will @theSNP be calling for Ian Blackford to step down as the party's leader in Westminster? London to Skye a much longer journey than London to Durham...

"As far as we know, Blackford didn't have special child care needs like Cummings, either.

"Blackford had accommodation in London, provided by thousands of pounds in taxpayer-funded accommodation expenses. He can argue he had a right to travel to his multi-acre estate anyway, but not while claiming the moral high ground over Cummings."

Another said: "Weren't people told to stop fleeing London and spreading the virus to the countryside?"

Durham police say no case to answer traveling up to Durham to protect his son.

Matter closed.

News channels done with it.

Pro-EU media failed in their witch hunt.

Don't many MPs have two homes ?

Wasn't the Government advice at that time  to Stay at Home ? (unless essential travel etc)

Wasn't he already therefore  "home" ?

Wasn't travelling to 2nd homes specially banned ? - ( unless extenuating circumstances )

Just gathering the facts at this stage.

Just having a bit of fun - boys ... not at all being politically  motivated one way or the other.

The Clue is in the Thread Title ...  'Blackford won't be so gobby - now '

I simply cannot stand the overtly noisy, arrogant, self-important little nobody ... no matter which party he represents.

So anybody could really travel to a 2nd home then ?...by just saying it was actually their 1st home ?

Seems like there may be some rule bending going on ?

We certainly need a full police investigation here.

"Are you allowed to travel to a 2nd home in breach of lockdown legislation , because your instincts tell you that it not really your 2nd home to which you are travelling,  but actually your 1st home , and the legislation has not specially barred travelling back from a 2nd home to a 1st home , even though you may well feel it is in breach of the spirit of the legislation ?"

Maybe we could get a very long tape measure and run it all the way from MPs temporary work home in London to where they actually live. We would need a very long one indeed for some of the Scottish ones I would guess, let alone the ones in the North of England.

Politicspunter, the not-an-SNP-supporter (who kids nobody) once again straight in attacking and insulting people who say anything bad about his SNP.

Blackford is a hypocritical dim bigot.

Just the other day he posted a doctored picture of a sign on the Scottish border (facing England) with "we're shut, f**k off" on it. They'l be great fo the tourist industry. Imagine for one second a Tory or UKIP politician had posted a picture of a doctored England sign (facing Scotland) with "f**k off" on it. Do you think this windbag lardbucket would've kept silent on it?

And as for his track record with the harrassment in the hateful campaign against Charlie Kennedy, that is well documented. Oh and after his mob went to the local Lib Dem office and acted in such an aggressive manner the police had to be called, he said later it was a pleasant discussion. So proven liar too.

One of the reasons Flush is blocked is that he was constantly personally abusive to me. He was trawling through old posts of mine, regarding polling and predictions and resurrecting them, often a year or more after the event itself, highlighting anything I had got wrong. Let me try and put his mind at rest yet again. I get plenty of things wrong, I can't be any clearer. The reason I don't post many predictions any more is because of folks like Flush and why folks like him do that on a political betting forum, the reasons completely defeat me. They are only spoiling it for everyone else who may wish to analyse and speculate but are reluctant to do so
