You start enjoying songs your Mum used to listen to that you couldn't bear when you were a kid like;

Neil Diamond (Cracklin' Rosie & Forever In Blue  Jeans)
Billy Jo Spears (What I've Got In Mind)
Love Will Keep Us Together (Captain & Tennille)
...and many more.

But even worse...when your own kids get older and ask for
clarification about those artists for their Spotify playlist Surprised

I refuse to walk a mile. Used to run ten.
Embarrassed to go swimming. Fat mon.
I'm into Deanna Durbin.  Even silent films.
Wings has footage of biplanes that is awesome.

Not exactly my Mother's kinda stuff but I used to snígger at the smellies who used to like Status Quo a
few decades ago and I now firmly believe it's a rite of passage for old-timers (once you hit 50) to get
roped into that nonsense...like a taste for mild, and there's fcuk all you can do about it!

It just strangely becomes more aurally acceptable...even pleasing Crazy
My mate, who incidentally used to laugh at those hairy fcuks as much as I did in the 80s has got a triple
CD of the béllends in his car! Surprised

I borrowed it from him Blush
