A white woman in America who did not take kindly to being told by a black man to have her dog on a leash (mandatory in the park) and was filming her called the police to say she was being threatened by the man. Now the woman's employer (an investment company) has suspended her.

What has America become? A young (educated) white woman can so readily and willingly resort to "racism" dislike being corrected.

One being in New York , not exactly Hazzard county.

& that this educated white woman believes the NYPD are racist but rather than thinking that is bad uses it to threaten a law abiding citizen.

Add to that she was hardly looking after her dog.
Fully expect ta just giving page to be set up to help this poor woman out who has lost her job.

I found the video astounding that was a scene could happen in the 21st century. Nonetheless, I'd like to hear the views of her (probably) educated parents. I'd like to know how a child of theirs could be so against black people and readily use racism to try and get her own way regardless.

In S Korea one of the daughters of the owner of the airline she was travelling on did not like being served peanuts on a plate (I believe) and had a right hump with the air stewardess who served her. Her tantrum resulted in her (the daughter) serving a term in prison for bringing the family name into disrepute, and behaving like a spoil brat.

Will this educated American woman be accorded the same treatment eg her family and herself shamed by society? In Trumpland  more chance of finding the Lochness monster, I guess that it happening.

This is a deliberate racially motivated non story that if the roles were reversed i.e black woman calling police on white man wouldn't be mainstream news.
Now any other woman who is in fear in any scenario replicating this one will think twice about phoning the police for fear of being labelled racist and losing her job etc.

Some of you are beyond belief.

The American woman was contravening the rule by not having her dog on a leash in the park. And, the bloke was merely videoing the event with her knowledge (not secretly) maybe even anticipating aggravation of the kind that prevailed. And, it was the American woman (the offender) who called the police, not him.

A clear demonstration of un-called for racism and wasting police time.

Personally, I'd not film any female, young or elderly, in a park contravening or breaking the rules regarding its use. However, I'd only do so if it was something outrageous or downright uncivil eg drunk and disorderly, and I'd call the police myself - I'd not even approach her. But, I'd approach the police when they arrive, and if my presence was needed if they called my mobile.

I firmly believe the behaviour of the black man was reasonable, appropriate and savvy given the recent racist incidents in America. This American woman was behaving in a manner not conducive to humanity, but racism.

What happened to George Floyd is absolutely shocking and I hope the c*nts responsible are brought to justice.

But I'm not allowing the inhuman behaviour of those scumbags to cloud my judgement in this case.

Her choice of words might have been out of order, but I don't think there is any doubt there was provocation there and fear instilled to her by those words from Mr Cooper.

He said "If you're going to do what you want, I'm going to do what I want, but you're not going to like it." before reaching into his pocket. He further inflamed the situation by starting to film her.

Yes does seem a strange thing to say although he could have meant filming her.
However she does apologise to him in a tweet for her actions which again makes me think he hadn't intimidated her.
