Since he was struck down with COVID-19 his previous 'can do' attitude seems to have dissolved.

He went from a positive man of reluctantly enforcing a short sharp 3 week lockdown with the optimism that we could send the virus packing in 12 weeks to someone who is just not inspirational dragging on the pain for no scientific reason. We have turned into a nation of cowards in the space of a couple of months happy to sit at home collecting £2500 a month for nothing.

Such a shame we cannot have the old Boris back who got Brexit done and was about to level up the country. He was never a details man but he can paint the broad brush strokes. Currently he cannot even do that.

There is a golden opportunity right now to admit the mistakes of how Covid was handled and to start investing in rebuilding our technical and manufacturing base and reforming big government (and the NHS).

NHS management and Public Health England has failed in testing, in sourcing PPE and protecting the vulnerable. We need reforms as the skill base at manufacturing capability of the country was not up to the task. The Health Sec must go. The head of NHS England must go. The NHS must we reformed into a more flexible set of smaller units that are not afraid to use British companies where appropriate to improve patient outcomes.

We need more technical education rather than social studies etc. We need investment in British manufacturing so we no longer need foreign imports in vital things. Globalism has failed in this time of crisis. When the going gets tough every country feds for itself. We have a golden chance to do with the whole state aid thing ending to rebuild Britain from north to south with new industrial centers. The whole carbon nonsense needs to be culled so we can rebuild.

Boris needs a shot in the arm if he is the man to get this recovery done.

The lack of optimism is evident to me too but it just seems to be part of a wider personality overhaul over the last 12 months. I dont even know who this Boris Johnson is anymore.

Used to be libertarian, ‘high bar for police interference’. Now locking the country up, threatening fines, then increasing fines, for just going out.
Used to be open and fearless in front of a camera. Now scared of his own thoughts. Would rather avoid questions. Hiding behind scientists.
Used to be a conservative, now wants to be a politician of everything.
And yes, he used to be positive. Now its all doom and we need to stay vigilant.

Hes turning into a prime candidate for leader of the labour party

It's difficult to see how anyone could have possibly predicted that a man who has been sacked from his job multiple times for lying, agreed to help his mate beat up a journalist, swindled the people of this country in order to persuade them to vote for economic hardship and the abolition of their freedoms, betrayed every woman he has ever been in a relationship with and is on child number six with four different mothers, could be the worst prime minister this country has ever seen.

Yep, not broken so much as unmasked. Boris is a good time guy, ready with a cheeky smile and witty remark to put a smile on the face. Not the guy to make difficult choices and to lead with the stoicism and resolve needed for a proper crisis. As we've (not) seen, when the heat is on he disappears from trace.

As a young gullible halfwitted feckwit lefty I used to imagine today is going to be the last day of Thatcha .
For about ten years I was like that.
That's what's going to happen to all the gullible lefty feckwits with Boris.

Boris is an idiot being backed up by a plank in Cummings

I personally find the whole thing utterly pathetic though, beyond stupid what's going on with Cummings

I love Dorris, I love Cummings because I go where I like and do what the fcek I want. Even the coppers talk to us when we are drinking by the water! Best of all I love Sushi Bumcrack and the full furlough, the whole nine yards. What a brilliant idea the job retention scheme is! I might even vote Tory at the next election if they carry on like this!

Now I want a leather sofa, a flat screen tv, sky tv, two holidays a year to Benidorm and a cash job on the side.

I'm a soul boy, I'm a dole boy

Hey Sucker!
