Surely all the high-tech eye testing equipment they use at Specsavers etc have now become white elephants.

My local opticians is 15 minutes away.   So I could just drive there and back without going in and saving myself £30 in the process.

before strapping him in back for another 6 hr car journey back to London,

i am going to my local pub for a lock in where i will drink ten points, i will then get back in my car and see if i am fit to drive by driving home.

I am going for a Cummings test drive to tesco. It's the only place I have been in months and I reckon the car knows the way. However, just to make it fun, I have got a black marker, coloured in my glasses and offered to take as many small children with me as possible.

If he was telling the truth then surely the offence of driving with impaired vision is much worse..good luck to his insurers

yes they tell you not to drive if they are doing a full eye test - NOW WE KNOW WHY!
