God is your father. You are a step brother to Jesus. He is our king of kings. You are the priest..king. You choose to pass off your authority to men wearing gowns and costumes in false churches. Priests.nuns. Monsignors .bishops.popes. Layers of middlemen that are unnecessary . You have a soul.you are a son of god if you want it. Blow it off. Be a fool. Choose the world over Jesus. Go fill your life with distractions. Time is ticking down. The bill will arrive. I have a free pardon. I inherit the kingdom. A trillion stars and higher dimensions . Not to be passed up. For sex and drugs.

I thought protestanism came about precisely because it went back to focusing on the bible as the only essential truth, and rejecting all the other man made faff that had built up around it - so strange to lump it in with the others given the direction of argument.

I hope Martin Luther is still alive to chime in on this. Although if he is, I'd imagine we'd find his response pinned to a door somewhere.

Whether or not God exists, many people seek and find solace and comfort in believing in one, it's how many people get through grieving processes and in general any times of distress.

I however am not intelligent enough to understand the pointlessness of pain and suffering and cannot buy any justification given, which is why I am out, though in times of a crisis I would no doubt pray to God, natural survival instincts I guess.

Many of their children now believe in evolution. They are dispensing with god. The bible is structured in sevens. Heptadic formatting. Ivan Panin a Russian born mathematician analyzed the bible. Became a believer through his own discovdries. He died in the 1940s . Harvard graduate. Wrote several books about the formatting of the Hebrew and Greek texts. Simply put. No man could write the bible. No super computer can emulate it. Seven letter nouns. Verbs.proper nouns. Adjectives. Etc. In some chapters there are 70 conditions. Try writing a book doing that. Writers block. Men like Isaiah had the holy spirit dictating the book. They are witnesses not writers. If they were good writers. The bible is rated as possibly better than Shakespeare. Then where are their other books. Mathematicians have looked at panins discoveries and estimate that it would take millions of supercomputers trillions of yrs to do what is hidden in the formatting of the bible. This is not the bs bible codes of the nineties. An example is a sentence with 49 letters. All nouns in that sentence would have seven letters. Verbs. Etc. To write entire chapters with this methodology would be ttorture. On goat skins. Then tell all later contributors to do the same. It shows a level of planning beyond the rangers of mankind. Seven to the power of seventy in places.

There are going to be a great many very distraught people that day.  The vast majority, in fact.  One thing they will not be able to do is to say they were not forewarned.  Fact.

The bible is a translation of translations of ancient ramblings selected and edited by Catholic Popes. How do you square that with your counting in sevens?
Believing in God is perfectly legitimate, why stress yourself trying to reconcile it with mere scribblings? You don't have to convince us, it's not your job.

People follow religions because they have been indoctrinated weekly/daily from birth......pure brainwashing and emotional child abuse !

All religion should be banned for anyone under the age of eighteen.

Is that not what Zorro is saying, religions have hijacked his opinion of who god really is to him - which is a fair enough point.
Most wars are caused by religious conflict by getting rid it should be a sound thing to happen, unfortunately they are far too entrenched now for that to even be considered.
