This is a serious question...
Whatever their status, refugees or economic migrants, why do they want to come to the UK as opposed to staying in France or another European country? Is it the language? Family or friends already here? Or is it our welfare and benefits system? Surely it can't be that much more generous to warrant a long, arduous, dangerous and expensive journey? |
