Dear oh dear oh dear

One sentence follows another suggesting what they have done when in truth they have not.

Giving death figures fir care homes when no routine testing took place for corona

Bragging about testing now about to be introduced, but not for the 30k already dead
In care homes.

When pillock comes on I switch off. He must be one, if not, the worst Health Secretary this country has even had, and I'm not being political or Covid-19 inclined.

Fcuk all to do with the government but the plebs on here don't need an excuse to spout the same old bile on a daily basis

More breaking news, if you had an underlying health condition it means you were obviously going to die the next day anywayCrazy

Number of tests quoted but not number of people tested which tends to be about 60% lower

There wouldn't be a need for care homes if people could be arsed to look after their parents, rather than dumping them in these places

Jucel the more important point is Hancock was saying the exact same exactly a month ago,it was repeated on the 23rd of April, it has been blatant lying all the way through, that is just wrong and not acceptable.

'jucel69', It would be nice if so, but it's never as simple as that eg elderly has no family/child/small family where children live far away and in work. Even then the elderly will be exposed to a higher risk regards Covid-19 eg in BAME community.

What about the responsibility of the owners of these care homes?
Surely they should be taking the blame?

Privately owned businesses should be responsible for their own ppe.
They are avarice bastards and don't give a fig about their clients

How? they had no ppe for one, both ppe and testing was for the NHS and no one else originally and only now masks (sheet ones) are advised for public.

The goverment official advice on the 12th of March was there was a "very unlikely risk to care homes"

The point still was the blatant lie on the 15th of APRIL.

I will bring the French care home thread up again if you want.

take your pick from todays media.

London about to eradicate virus,uk as a whole going back over one
very few kids infected to 2 million plus
2 million og public had virus up to 25 million
R id crucial to R is basically meaningless
18% of 5 top 14 yr old s already been infected, nurse jenny just says no ,chance of kids catching it in school,

or to quote slater in fools and horses,we,re looking for a 7ft dwarf, aged between 16 and 70, thin set, stocky build, bald with a pony tail, wearing a hearing aid, with a guide dog, LaughLaugh

I understand that but shouldn't they have been prepared in the first place?
Most people have been hammering the government for being under prepared
The owners of the nursing homes should be too
What's good for the goose .....

That's the  individual doctors faults not the government
All I'm saying is everybody is quick to hammer the government for everything
The blame needs to be directed at others too
