We have an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to join our busy Human Resources department as our trust's Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

In this influential role, you will lead the Trust in ensuring that we take all practicable steps to create a representative workforce of our local diverse community that we serve, and that the services we provide include and provide for their needs. More than that, you will work at all levels to help us overcome any real or perceived barriers to employment, volunteering opportunities or access to our services. By drawing on your experience of equality, diversity and inclusion legislation and delivering large scale programmes of work, you will be instrumental in making sure that we live up to our ambitions, both internally and publicly.

In addition, you must have a substantial, demonstrable understanding of discrimination legislation across the different legal jurisdictions. You will also have significant experience of developing, managing and evaluating equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives, preferably at a senior or national level. Strong influencing skills and professional presence will be key to your success in this role.

In other words up yours Whitey even if Whitey is the next Florence Nightingale

Clearly not enough sustainability there, because this advert has just appeared:

Programme Manager (Sustainability)
The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Job Reference: 317-2020-07-008
Employer:The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Department:317 Sustainability Team
Location:317 02 Royal Victoria Infirmary
Salary:£38,890 - £44,503 per annum

In June 2019 Newcastle Hospitals became the first healthcare organisation in the world to declare a climate emergency, recognising the threat that climate breakdown poses to public health, and committing to becoming carbon neutral by 2040. Since making this public declaration the Trust has embedded climate action into its five year strategy and, with the help of our CEO Dame Jackie Daniel, led regional and national efforts to fast-track the delivery of low-carbon sustainable healthcare services.

The policy formulators.   The shadow ones like the globalists who dont give a damn about sovereign nations, borders, culture or tradition.   All they care about is exploitation, profit and control.   Then there are their visible enablers(stooges)men universally admired like Churchill or Brown.  These people get a soft pass.  We moan and squabble amongst oourselves meanwhile they are resetting society.

Why not combine the post of Energy Manager and Waste Manager and have a Waste of Energy Manager.

Did we have all these jobs in the past or did just one person do it all, how on earth did we cope?

Just one NHS trust turns out to have

A Head of Sustainability
A Sustainability Officer
A Sustainability Co-ordinator
A Programme Manager (Sustainability)

Note that not one of those is actually doing any sustaining. That's a whole further level of employment.

It would be far more useful if the NHS employed someone who had some idea how to deal with this virus we are suffering

NHS exists to help with Peoples Health that what it is what is what it was created for......not create biodiversity in race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, etc

No wonder we have  34,000 people dead so far!

"Salary: £57,990 - £66,823 pa inc."

I find it intersting how "the left" consider even moderately high salaries as "rich".
By keeping thresholds low the highest tax bands have got in effect lower but 58k is in anyone's book a damned high salary, and in this case, it's for a total non job to keep politically correct knobs happy.
