When it came to protecting the NHS over everything else I don't recall been asked which I prefer

No economy no NHS we could always take 2 billion a year off the bbc and the 12 billion in overseas aid charge all overseas users of the NHS and stop all immigration into the country after all with the massive downturn in the economy there will be more people than jobs also empty the prisons of overseas inmates send them back home should save a few quid

It was never about protecting the NHS it was about protecting the Government's embarrassment over its under funding of the NHS should it be overrun by covid-19. Cancer patients will die because their treatment has been curtailed but this will not be in the statistics.
Oh yes, let's bring immigrant's into the argument because really all I want to do is display my racist attitudes ffs! Should we also return all the immigrant's working for the NHS and saving lives to their country of origin? |

Yes that would be start there is going to be a big drop in the economy we can't be providing well paid jobs to immigrants when British people need the work let's also stop asylum cases we can't afford them anymore

People are going to have to used to the new reality of the massive self inflicted economic crash we simply cannot afford to carry on as before closing tax loops and ensuring that everyone and big business pays their dues Also a lot dodgy chari8and pressure groups who feed of the tax payer need pruning back. Senseless foreign policy that involves interfering in other countries affairs need to stop these upper crust lot at the FO need telling the empire is no more.

you can't have the nhs without a fully flourishing economy
so you don't protect the nhs at the expense of crashing the economy...its basic downstream economics the economy trumps health every day of the week & twice on sundays |
