Safety guidelines are here:

It appears they want to keep this 2 metre thing indefinately.

Here is an extract....

The ambition at this step is to open at least some of the remaining businesses and premises that have been required to close, including personal care (such as hairdressers and beauty salons) hospitality(such as food service providers, pubs and accommodation), public places(such as places of worship) and leisure facilities (like cinemas). They should also meet the COVID-19 Secure guidelines. Some venues which are, by design, crowded and where it may prove difficult to enact distancing may still not be able to re-opensafely at this point, or may be able to open safely only inpart. Nevertheless theGovernment will wish to open as many businesses and public places as the data and information at the time allows.

Not sure the government have got this right. Hair cutters already open in the Paris and never shut in Sweden.

How are any business where people have to get close to each other ever going to be able to open?

Also things like nightclubs and dating APPs?

It will unfortunately IT,maybe it might naturally die out over time with measures but that would be a co-ordinated world wide effort and you can't hold your breath for that.

How can you honestly listen to any goverment advice, they have made a bags of this from the start, agree with baby steps but when you are lied to by true numbers and false advice,it is basically up to yourself now.

You honestly think safety measures in workplaces will be rigerous and PPE provided if required, in a lot of cases not a chance, someone told me there was an inspector in and keep your distance etc,the minute he went out the door all back to normal, all lip service.

I was out for a walk and saw the coronavirus coming towards me. Thankfully, due to the new government guidance, I stayed alert and hid behind a tree. It missed me, thanks Boris.

The OP mentions nightclubs. Meanwhile in S Korea one guy with the virus visited a couple of clubs and managed to infect over 100 people.

I don't know how much more evidence people need to keep social distancing measures in place.

How long for though? Nightclubs employ over 80,000 people.
