No second spike is not wanted

Most likely. If Germany, South Korea and Singapore - the 3 most efficient and professional approach in terms of density of population - had them the UK is more than likely given the lack of prep and proactiveness of the government in dealing with Covid-19. The Stay Alert advice is a catalyst and recipe for those not grasped how deadly Covid-19 can be eg pictures of people playing football or having a picnic in a park in Hacney.
If anything the savvy ones will more likely to stay at home given the proliferation of possible Covid-19 spreaders on the road, parks and shops. |

Like a tsunami the 2nd wave is always massive compared to the first. It will have been designed to terrify the population into excepting the new normal laws.

listening to raab this mornng it seems you can do anything you want at a 2m distance

Will people be allowed to hold placards up while walking around at a safe 2m distance or does the new normal not allow that anymore?

A more "subtle" way would be to place a sticker which says "2m" on everyone's forehead or just above one's face mask. Then even those playing football or having a picnic in a park in Hackney at the weekend will understand totally.
Stay Alert for MUGGERS, or Stay At Home - this will be my succinct advice. |

A second spike is inevitable but we know how to defend ourselves better now. Vulnerable people need to protect themselves.
They will not be able to get round the public transport issue in London and SE. There can be no proper return to work without it. We cannot return to works properly without kids going back to school and proper childcare. It is going to get messy. |
