Dont forget that over 90% of the 26 will have had an underlying conditions. You can count on one hand the healthy people who have died from Covid in this age group.

The added tragedy is that this age range are likely to bear the brunt of the economic damage we have caused.

It’s terrible that parents are approached by Plod when they play sport with their kids. All cricket, golf and football practice facilities shut.

aye; add in travelling exes & sundries & it's virtually a full wage for staying at home. Unions already kicking off; & as i said the other day, the problem won't be getting the kids back to school, it will be the teachers

we should be asking the government that we have not paid a penny off the debt since the 2008 crash,it went up 3-fold and now it going to go to massive levels,so how the hell do they plan to get it down

Nothing to spend it on? rent, council tax, mortgage payments (deferring these is just adding to your short to long-term debt), utilities, food, pensions etc all on 20% less and with a growing realisation you wont have a job if this goes on too much longer hardly call it a win, its fairly easy for people on here in a position of relative comfort to maintain the lockdown is correct carry-on, not so if you have a young family and starting out in your early 30s trying to make a better life for yourself, every day must be a constant worry.

So providing they don't come into contact with anyone over 25 then they don't pose any threat?

Compulsory age segregation.

Let the at risk groups stay in lockdown IF they want to. Let the young and healthy get on with their lives. Sooner or later it has to happen. We cant keep going back to full lockdowns regardless of the cases so the sooner we accept this the better.

Same over here, very few deaths under the age of 40 but we're all locked up while the economy and peoples futures are going to sh1t. CSO figures on Friday showed that we now have 28.5% unemployments and youth unemployment is around 50%.

You'll get some twats saying the government are doing a great job but it's utter rubbish, when they decided to lift a restriction on May 5th they decided to allow cocooners (over 70s) to leave their homes, yes they decided to lift the restriction on the demographic who are the highest risk of this virus, you can't make that up.
