The odd time I've watched the online BBC forecast recently, it seemed they'd been ordered to remind us about our "brief daily exercise" entitlement.
As for the weather forecasts themselves, I'd imagine a lot of people just want to know whether or not they will be able to get their washing dried outside, yet you never hear the forecaster say, for example: If you live in London, I'd advise you to get your washing pegged out early, but get them in before two, because I think the showers will be arriving mid to late afternoon. |
