Just seen most it and it would appear only the UK and USA economies are in shlt street. Should we be buying shares in companies from any other country bar these two?

Any news which disses Trump and Johnson and their respective countries is the staple diet of the BBC and causes mucho delight and merriment.

Every country has dire economic warnings, they will be some bill.

What i didn't gey was they were projecting the economy will drop by 14% but it will grow by 15% next year?

There might be a reason for that but don't get it.

Why should they overly concern themselves with other economies? For people in the western sphere, the economy of the own country, in this case the UK, and that of the overlord, the USA, matter first and foremost.

Just a case of wanting to blame the meanie BBC and play the poor victim again.

Even within the EU, or at least Germany, one isn't bombarded with the exact state of the Romanian economy non-stop. You get told about Germany, the USA and the Eurozone as a whole (if a new forecast is published).

People simply know that it has an impact everywhere. We don't need to be told about the state in the UK, France or whereever else to not have our little nationalistic feelings be hurt.

100 less 14% is 86

86 grown by 15% = 98. 9

So they are forecasting a small decline over the period of just over 1%

Remember 20 years ago they were talking about scrapping the license fee, and 15 years ago, and 10, and 5 and today, really it's a political football when it suits, not sure the trigger will ever be pulled.

I suppose what's different nowadays to 20 years ago is that now it really does feel out of today because their viewership numbers have crashed thanks to streaming platforms, netflix and the like, I mean for years their flagship programme was Eastenders, ok when they was getting 15 mil per episode 4 times a week but now about 3-5 mil? Should either be subscription based (would be the end of the BBC) or advertisements.

I did start watching the Tom Moore show, was almost retching by the half way point. The bbc made it about themselves and other associated so called slebs hijacking his story, muscling in on the attention.

If they go subscription is will make them book their ideas up a bit

No one wants to watch half the c*** they churn out. Doctor Who and EastEnders are their main two shows and who the heck is going to pay to watch those god awful shows?

PC will need to be dropped, and they'll need to get in the real world ffs

Doctor who Laugh

Eastenders , Let's all have shout up in the Pub ,Or a murder ,That'll keep the masses interested

Yes totally unaware , I always thought that a Jewish man would love to play a true NF TYPE Character

, Never the less anything like it today would cause uproar ...

And would not be screened ,Hence the question of who put in on the Schedule in the first place .
