can see whats going to happen.
20 stone brexit/tory voting english people drinking 24 cans of carling( not forgetting mandatory bbq ) in parks/gardens in large groups in strong sunshine. lots of trouble , so government can deny any form of lifting of restrictions.
Recgonise importance of VE day , but is it not a time to reflect on what could have been rather than get mortal ?

I think legally the govt would not be able to cancel any holiday,to my knowledge wartime measures could be used by the PM

You mean give johnson an excuse ? could be. Wouldnt put it past him.
Could argue today could lead to more infections though . Can't tell me these street parties later on today once carling/fosters/john smiths/strongbow kicks in dont evolve into mass interaction. |
