If this stuff goes out of date then stockpiling is pointless. Reality is everywhere needs PPE. Global shortages. Well done the people running the UK supply at the NHS/Army making sure that local shortages are being sorted out. Thumbs done to the attention seekers in the media trying to make a story out of this non-story and insulting our hard working NHS/Army logistics teams that we will be clapping for in 43 mins. |

Some of it was 10 years out of date,they alledgely retested it but haven't made the results public,is it fair on any frontline medicial worker to work with out of date equipment?

Gloves made of latex, neoprene or nitrile will degrade in time. I'm not sure what the masks and aprons are made of, but gloves certainly have a shelf life depending on how they are stored.

i do realize that Matt Handcock is trying his best and is on a run of bad luck,but the constant lies and spin he comes out with everyday is not fooling the general public ,and its my guess his days are numbered as he is likely to lie his way out of his position (job).they are just not little white lies he spins they are super massive lies and they are putting people's lives at risk.
