Some people (could be a high percentage of the population?) are unable to catch it.  T lymphocytes (T cells) from past cornaviruses they have had may mean they have a degree of immunity.

Influenza is not a Coronavirus. A bad cold could be.

You arent trying hard enough mate.   Have you considered going to hospitals and shaking the hands of cv patients.   Apparently it worked for Doris.  No cancel that you said you were scum not stupid.

That is interesting. I think two years ago maybe I came back from a holiday to Southern India ( plane change in Kuwait ) and  in January got a stinking rotten chest infection. Not so much mucus which I have to say I thought was weird as usually such a cold would lead to plenty of trumpet blowing and sore nasal membranes.

I didn't take any time off work and gave it to everybody. It lasted a long time over a month and Mrs 'Death was so concerned in February she rang 111 and took me to a hospital against my will somewhere in West London for a Doctors emergency visit. I think he just gave me antibiotic's which did not particularly work. I seem to remember catching it again and again over the months. It was like coming back in rounds each time less severe. There was a lot of coughing from everybody and plenty of shouts to put your hand over your mouth you dirty bstard but most people just wanted to cough the phlegm so it was hands on thighs and cough it up son but it never came up and out.

I am now wondering if a large part of the community have some sort of immunity to certain Corona types? Old people have been getting annual flu vaccines and maybe this has left them unable to fight it themselves effectively. Obviously I am not a scientist. Lets hope they do some decent testing of large samples of the population to hazard some sort of guess.
