testing is pointless if its not timely, the window is really

only 3 days.

Korea turned them around in less than 48hrs.

if you dont have throughput testing it useless as those people are out there spreadin and you then have a much greater tracing issue.

To be fair to Jenrick, he appears to be on top of his brief, was able to rattle off figures and council names.

Testing is meaningless after the virus has been here five months . More misdirected money .

this regional lark is subterfuge and more sidetracking, also will lead to a lack of responsibility and a blame game

It’s pointless pecker. Jenrick is doing very well. Impossible job fielding these questions.

Eyeball, i still think testing is crucial, but i agree if your implying they wont be able to track and trace effectively thus rendering it pointless then
By:
Angoose
When: 06 May 20 17:38
eyeball, you appear to be unwilling to accept evidence, you have decided that testing is not required despite highly qualified medical and scientific subject matter experts telling you day after day on tv, radio, newspapers, and social media that it is

If they can't convince you, I'm not going to do so on an anoymous internt forum

Only ever been to Derby the once, went there to interview some graduate engineers from Rolls Royce.
Stayed in a hotel near the railway station, found a snooker hall in the nearby city centre, quite liked the place.

Herd immunity btw offers no panacea as too many unknowns re virus

Im really not sure at all what the strategy is...

If even they have one and in what timescale...

It's all so mish mash imo

I'll be happy to peruse the evidence , Angoose . Just show me where these "experts" say that testing for the virus is useful after the pandemic has been in a country for five months . You read too many newspapers and fail to realise what the data really means . if you ever read or understand it ?

There is no lack of evidence for you to read, and if you'd listened to Yvonne you would have heard another voice calling for continued testing.
