Bought a 16 can pack from the Brinkburn Brewery in Byker. Interesting mixture of flavoured and non flavoured beer-some must be an acquired taste like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Porter but can recommend the Byker Brown Ale. Until recently never used to drink cans as a hangover from the 80s when McEwans Export had a funny metallic aftertaste but the canning technology has moved on. That said can't wait for a proper draught pint.

foxy they certainly used to have the concession at Sandown (in the main stand nearish to the main entrance) where from memory they sold TEA and Hop Garden Gold.Trick to avoid the queue was to get there straight after the winner passed the post although to be fair they were very efficient in serving customers. Not sure why they stopped selling there ; I know the people who replaced them and sold Punter were treated badly by Sandown and were eventually relegated to the back of the Sports bar . They too gave up soon afterwards.

I'm not really a cider drinker but will give it a try on a hot summer's day ;the draught TEA which i'm picking up at the moment is in superb condition and much better than that generally sold in pubs which leads me to think that too many landlords don't  know how best to keep their beer.

Difficult not to generalise lovegod, but I find 'Blonde Ales' invariably tasteless and I avoid. Conversely there are some dark looking 'Pale ales' that are all about light flavoursome hops. My favourite draught is Abbeydale Moonshine- summer in a glass- but I've never seen it in bottles.

Nonetheless I put some in the fridge and took them in a cool bag when I met up with my mates and I have to say they were pleasant enough. I wouldn't buy San Miguel again but I am and certainly would drink it if that was the only option. I am trying to stay off the beer in lock down so San Miguel is my current only option!
