Allah alone knows there's been plenty of competition during this most "progressive" of millennia.
To summarise M'Lud, a mother gave birth, but reportedly wants to be called the "father" or "parent" on the birth certificate.
How on earth did this nonsense get the time of day in ANY courtroom, let alone the High Court, then the Court of Appeal? Even 'Monty Python' would have rejected this as too absurd.
It's also fairly safe to predict this won't be the end of the absurdity. There is still the option of claiming that "Mother = Father" in the Supreme Court, and doubtless any number of Useful Progressive Idiots who would be glad to bankroll such a case, unless of course that proud privilege falls to the UK taxpayers.

I entirely agree alun ;all this 'fluidity' , 'trans', metro sexual, BAME nonsense is a bloody disgrace and our forefathers who fought in the war would be turning in their graves if they knew how this country had turned out. We need a prime minister in the mould of Mrs Thatcher to kill off the liberal deviants who have infiltrated the Institutions ,particularly the BBC who clearly have an agenda to crush the hetero sexual , indigenous Englishman .

 Nice Friendly people......And Bar the Accent reminds me old London, very family orientated The town I grew up in was English Irish and West Indians ,we were Working Class .......... London fell apart Yuppies, Bankers , and yes to an extent Ethnics , but the whole place changed young Singles EtC, Money people , Stupid Prices,over crowding , traffic. Fook me you found it Hard to stop anywhere, must be a tenner an hour parking now , as for speed Cameras and Yellow boxes ,Bus lanes The year before I left I got 9 points on my License I must have hundreds in parking fines , Then charging u a oner to park outside your Own house When I tell people that up here they think I am Nuts ..... Since I have been here I have a had £25 parking fine totally my Fault , And WAIT FOR IT , NIL POINTS .... |

Nobody can change sex...if the Medical profession only admitted this instead of
making a fortune out of it, it would end this. People can openly live as Gays and Lesbians in our society, surely that is enough????? There are some people who may have a genital deformity at birth. So my be wrongly sexed, but this quite rare and can be corrected by surgery. Once the proper sex of the person has been worked out. |

I watched an old episode of "Only Fools and Horses" 2 days ago, the one where Delboy was going to sell an unborn baby to Boycie and Marlene, the mother was a foreign white girl who didn't want to go back home with an illegitimate child. Everything went well until Boycie looked inside the cot to find that the baby was Brown. Delboy said still trying to sell him the baby, "tell your mates she's a throwback to a couple of generations", Boycie "What you expect people to believe my grandfather was "Louis Bleedin Armstrong"!
Somehow don't think this episode would be allowed to be made these days, but it was funny. |

A birth certificate is a fixed record of an event - something that happened in the past.
Whatever the tedious ins-and-outs of the trans debate, since only humans with female anatomy can give birth to other humans, it can only be the mother who produced the sprog. Unless my biology teacher was lying to us all those years ago, that patriarchal, transphobic, old white man! This is (or should be) all about the identity of the child - not the parent and trying to accommodate theri view of themselves. |
