A YORK resident had a shock when preparing their tea - as they discovered an over-sized chip.

Oliver Dale, from Huntington, York, found the huge chip while making his tea yesterday.

Oliver said: "With lockdown well and truly in full flow you can forgive me for getting excited about the smallest things.

"After a busy day working from home I decided I fancied chips for my tea.

"When I opened the bag I was amazed with the size of this particular chip."

Oliver then compared the chip to his head and a banana, which it was longer than.

The chip measures at 7-inches in length.

Oliver went on to say: "I would like to know if this can be beaten."

Beat it hands down, in 1978 I made a slice of toast and burnt into one side was a lifelike picture of HRH Queen Elizabeth. I didn't get any recognition from the Palace but I'm not bitter about it.

Every story has a hidden meaning Grin

Tell the 'York resident' that I can beat his 7 inch chip.

I opened a bag of chips once and it only had in it one f**king 7.5 inch potato...

Christ, the media are totally bereft of ideas in this country.

Is the Chip Guys Name Buster

The surreal adventures of "the boy with unfeasibly large testicles". During a storm, Buster's gonads were zapped by cosmic rays which enlarged them to an enormous size, so that he needs a wheelbarrow to carry them around.
