Tragic what happened to the Lad , but what do they want Doing ?
She ain't coming back ,The U.S are not deporting her ,Whats the Next move Navy seals Kidnapping her ??
Can she not stand Trial over there ?? If that happened Odds on would be Careless driving ,or Due care and attention .......

Well she should come back to stand trial...
But Trump won't let her go, says she had diplomatic immunity I do not think there is much else they can do....they have done their best to get justice for Harry Dunn Must be hard to lose a child |

She was badly advised if they told her to leave, she'd not have done jail time for careless driving or whatever. Clearly no intent to hurt the lad and she could have apologised to the family in court.

Its Just dreadful , Not sure its anything to do with Trump Blue he didn,t Make the DI rules ,he met the Parents , Not sure how the Perp can live with the runaway and Hide bit , As saddo said she should have faced the Music ,and at least explained what happened , and spoke to the parents even in court , been hundreds of these type of Cases and worse MURDER , the DI business needs looking into .

Why didn't they meet her when she was in the next room, I understand it would have been a shock, but she would have surely expressed remorse to them, of course she should come back but that isn't happening, I would have met her for sure because I'd want to see her regret face to face at least.

They have an American lawyer trying to earn a buck and have bought into his attention seeking tic tacs. Very sad situation for all concerned including the perp who was also badly advised. It was a tragic accident compounded by a sense of injustice. The loss of their son is hard enough to take. Some cannot let go of the grief. Combined with the injustice they feel they have to fight for “ justice “ for their son and sadly cannot let this go.
There will be no justice for Harry Dunn sadly. The best we can hope for is the parents come to terms with their loss likes thousands of others. |

Dreadful isnt it Death , I was on Galveston , Turned right into on coming Traffic ,fortunately were few Cars ,Managed to stop and do U turn , yank guy asked if I was alright , When I replied he said "UR ENGLISH AND STARTED LARFING " ....

Someone from Eastern Europe committed a crime in the USA and went back to his own country on diplomatic immunity. Trump got him back to the USA to face justice. Trump gets things done, he could send this diplomat back to us. Still he does not want to be seen backing down now, she will not come back now. I hope Harry Dunne's parents. Learn to live with Harrys death as much as anyone over the loss of a child. Motorcycles and inherently dangerous, because of the lack of protection. Not that Harry had much chance with a car coming at him on his own side of the road over the brow of the hill. There is an Interpol Arrest Warrant out on the woman if she ever leaves America. That is a good thing. She now has other consequences because of her actions. I have always believed it was a terrible accident and she may well have psychological scars to deal with herself but her actions subsequent to the accident were just wrong.

It does not help that Uncle Sam ships (for free) left-hand drive cars into its British bases. Ending that would be more useful than bringing the spook back and maybe would be (a) diplomatically possible, and (b) a fitting tribute to Harry.

diplomatic immunity has it purpose & relevance for gov't officials working overseas but this isn't it and the privilege is shamed in situations like this which were surely never the purpose for its introduction
sadly the family are never likely to get proper justice but i fully understand them continuing to pursue it and as someone says the interpol arrest warrant inhibits her travelling elsewhere which keeps the matter open |
