The biggest mistake they made was scaring people so much when they wanted them to stay home. Its no surprise that many will be too frightened to go back to a more normal life in the future.
I think theres a section of the public who will be scarred for life from this and who you will never see again in Pubs/Supermarkets etc. The only way to get most back will be to remove financial support but expect a lot to suddenly develop colds/coughs and need to self isolate again. |

The scaremongering that resulted from the models that used the wrong assumptions early on scared everyone.
They need hammer home the real mortality rates by age group and pre-existing conditions as soon as they have done a proper AB survey. When people realise how unlikely you are to die if you are healthy people will come back out. The problem is will the politicians and members of the group think contaminated SAGE be willing to admit they got it wrong? They could always claim they thought NHS would be over run if they held firm on the original policy to save face. |

Surely the first thing to do is revoke the Orwellian legislation that renders people liable to arrest/spot fines for crossing the threshold and venturing out for anything other than the 5 'essential' tasks
