1st chaser of any type ive ever watched, NOT ALL THAT is it

Looks like you need to be a semi-professional actor/entertainer to get on the show.

The Chase nothing like this 1tp , quite entertaining ...

She did get a 21 second start and only 50k. The one thing you do have going for you as a contestant is that if you take on 4 or 5 of them they do seem to want to hit their buzzer before the other chasers and on a couple of occasions were too quick to get in and didn't wait for the question to finish. Still didn't do much for me on an excitement level, as someone said above Eggheads V Chasers would be good.

this ought to be a lot better show than what it is tbh

the cash builder part for each contestant is virtually pointless because all the value is in taking the higher offers
time seems to be far more important than how many chasers they take on imo

Always watch The Chase.But wont be watching Beat the Chasers again.Totally false to me.

I think the money being offered is generous and will be reduced if there is a second series.
p.s. kevin and Pat of the eggheads would  easily beat any 2 of the chasers

The Chase is quite relaxing imo, this is not.

I think Kevin on his own could give all 5 a start and a beating ! Different class !

Pat and kevin are in the world top  ten quiz rankings,Paul and Anne dont play enough
events to get a true ranking,my guess would be 15 to 20. The other 3 Chasers dont play
any events,presumably they dont want to be  embarrased.

Where are all these extrovert characters coming from, bit odd really. Half expecting the army guy from millionaire on soon.

I guess that is part of the show.  Quite enjoying it, but watching it all on catch up.

Seems in this format of the show, the chasers are a hinderence to each other. Jumping the gun on questions being a big one. It's like they're in competition with each other at the same time. All for the good of the contestant. If they carry on with it though, they'll get slicker as it continues.

Chasers giving away big money left right and centre.....They dont look so clever all of a sudden.

probably fixed for some unlike the real chase, those contestants for starters

more concerning is lack of social distancing with the chasers

the chasers embarrasing themselves in this new format ,getting beat by extremely average contestants ,although its the clock thats beating them really ,one wrong answer from them and the contestant has massive advantage.

How much are they winning? I saw a dizzy woman win 25k the other night, she was followed by 3 increasingly dizzier women and I gave in.

I am sure at least two have won 50k saddo and they were not that clever.

A woman was offered £76,000 on the normal chase yesterday.

I must admit i do watch The Chase every Day and i do like it.....Not a big fan of beat The Chasers though.

This is typical of the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it.Chase is a great prog no need for format changes.

They have a problem in that Bradley is The Chase, but has nowt to do with rights and production and is merely 'presenter' in the credits. When he launched his other show (forget the name) I assumed he wanted a bigger slice of something, like Tarrant.

Chaser is excellent, problem is its on same time as pointless which is also excellent.

Move chaser to prime spot... 4 contestants take on a different chaser, then money winners take on chasers with options to vary money for more chasers might work?

Yes, I found it a bit more watchable after a while but it lacked flow. I wouldn't look out for it when it returns.

watched the final chase last night. Ptreety good I thought but as as son as I saw and heard her I kind of knew something was up. She got the first question right to stay in and then got the next one wrong imho hoping to get some time but all the chasers knew they were up against a playa. 5 seconds against 5 people and she still won?

I noticed it cost between two or three squid to call and after the Coughing Major shorts I figured they must have the contestants all panned out. I think there are some shenanigans with many of these quiz programmes, particularly on ITV.

Anyone noticing the good standard quizzes on there getting bad deals in 2nd round. They're getting the treatment off them
