I hope when its all over ... though I fear there will be some further outbreaks at different times .. that any enquiry is open and transparent with some real accountability
It has been a dreadful experience for many in the UK and everywhere & many things could have been done differently to help reduce some of the problems ... admittedly hindsight sometimes helps but mistakes have been made which will need to be brought to light and highlighted
Hopefully longer term a vaccine might just be developed but that still seems a way off

Any enquiry needs to look into the quality of senior managers at the NHS who have been woefully unprepared,sadly the hysterical criticism directed at any questions about the NHS will prevent that. Too many passengers live off the excellent reputation earned by the frontline staff.

the government issued a policy that all hospital patients had to be discharge within 2 hours of being declared medically fit (no mention of being tested for COVID). this led to many elderly just being shoved into care homes. the government is entirely to blame.
