Sky customer care
exactly the same Gib...absolutely identical to your OP.I have succeeded to jettison Sky Sports and when my contract with Sky expires in July i look forward in giving them the old heave ho. |
|
By:
At least sky eventually sorted the sky sport thing out so you could arrange the pause online, even though it took them awhile.i understand from a friend that jet2 were playing the game the OP was complaining about regarding refunds, long wait on phone then redirected to web site then told it wasn’t possible to arrange online.we should all be noting which companies played fair during the crisis & use them accordingly when all this ends.

Sky arent great generally trying to get through.
Though after day's trying the online thing and no joy i called them up and through to an advisor within a minute! My contract due to end, I payed £86 for all sky channels, broadband, line rental, multi room, netflix, HD and UHD. And thats before the new price rise in April. I never used the multi room so needed to bin that off, and no kids so can bin that off. Got all the same stuff apart from no multi room, or kids (though online still says i have kids) for £74 a month which includes the new price rise. Plus sky sports already on hold and is still on hold so less until some sports come back. Which i dont think is to bad. Only other company had to phone was Plusnet who i have my mmobile SIM with. Had a Galaxy S5 which was past its best, and got a Galaxy S9. But the sim wouldnt fit. Phone them up, through again within a minute, new sim sent out, which i got the next day. Also i was on £6.24 for unlimited texts 10 hours talk and 1.5GB amonth. The advisor switched me to 2GB unlimited calls and texts for £6 on a rolling contract. So both where pretty good. |

Ohhhh betfair is the worst by far.
Used to play a lot of online poker, but im cinvinced its now ****. Anyway was on an old vip structure 35% rake. But the site changed all their system and im not getting anything, so contacted them on the text chat and keep saying t will be sorted, it will get sorted shortly. Been going on for over 2 weeks now and still nothing, i had a payment of £15 which i presume was rake. But im still owed over £50 on rake payments, and they havent got a clue whats going on. So not playing anymore till i get the £50, and ill keep the full £10 profit ive made on the poker, thatll teach them ![]() ![]() |

Scottish Power th eworst I've ever seen. When my Dad died we had to cancel his account after the house was sold. Just impossible. Eventually had to get the Ombudsman in, and they got it done plus fined them for poor service, £100 for my inconvenience.

Had an unexpected call on my mobile yesterday from Virgin Media. Foreign voice but not Indian and english was quite good. Rang to thank me for being a loyal customer for the past 6 yrs and said they wanted to reward me by upgrading my package. Basic tv up to mixed bundle with new V6 TIVO box, Broadband up from 200m - 350m, telephone to voicemail plus, + 2G SIM unlimited calls and texts all for an extra £3 per mth. I said it sounds too good to be true, is it permanent. Ah, it's for 12mths. I thought about it and I'll actually be saving money by getting rid of my current mobile provider. At the end of 12mths I'll jump ship if they don't keep me on it.
Chatted to the agent who said she was in Philippines in a crowded office with no social distancing. Said she was a single parent with three children so had to go to work - so bad marks to VM on that one. |
|
By:
VM will prob now track her down and sack her.
Plus just make sure its not an 18 month contract with offers for 12 months only. again 200mb to 300mb wont make any difference at all, you wont notice it. |

Betfair by far the worst customer service i have ever known.
Contacted them again today with regards missing rake. Below is what the agent put. Firstly i never recieved that e mail on Sunday like he said i did, (checked inbox, junk folder and deleted items), though apparently management said i did. Secondly there is no money been transfered to the poker account, which i told him to have a look, but apparently management said it has. Well there is a balance of zero, no games played and no money transfered, so not sure how that works. Also by their maths i lose out on about 12.50 euros to doing the calculation as it is 4.7 multiplied by 17.50 euro. The site now has the points required to get to 17.50 euro and the points value is 0. Management will e mail me apparently, however their e mails dont come through to me and i confirmed my e mail address. But claiming they have transfered the £65 when they can quite clearly see they havent takes some going, even by betfairs standard. Hi xxxx, Thanks for getting in touch. This would be with regard to the query you had escalated on your SPs. As of yesterday the 25th, you had redeemed a total of 5883.75 SPs. With every conversion happening at 1250 SPs, 4x conversions of €17.50 would have been applied, resulting in €70. As a result, £65.81 has been applied to the account. From what we can see, all due credits have been paid with nothing further applicable to the account pending the aquisation of your next 1250 SPs which will be converted automatically. Thanks, Kyle G, Betfair Customer Service Management |

Tui, my son was due to go to Dominican ATM, can't get through to them. Been given a credit note, other people's holidays have come and gone and not heard a single word from this ignorant mob. If it was them that owed the money for the holiday might be a different story.

spend it wisely Leopard, wouldnt suprise me if they have put it in a wrong account and sent the e mail to them
![]() ![]() ![]() They will prob get another e mail saying did you get the £65 and they will reply "yes thanks" and then close the query down. As i say totally useless. |
|
By:
Spent it on a $55 game .....out first hand !....oh well....nothing ventured ....
|
|
By:
Plus they try not to pay the full rake either as its 4.7 multiplied by 17.50 but try and do 4 x the 17.50, cheeky gits.
Still no e mail from "management" suprise suprise. |
|
By:
I've got it...will send it on to you.
