It is so hard to get any up to date facts.
15th April daily mail report;

218 prisoners tested positive in 57 of the 117 jails across England and Wales.
That has doubled from a week before.

82 prison staff tested positive in 35 jails

Deaths reported by the BBC to 14th April is 13.

You probably can double all the above figures at least for an up to date picture.

3,500 prison staff in self isolation due to suspected (many might be just bricking it tbf).

With the virus it seems hospitals,care homes and crowded places are where it thrives,only option is less crowds and more distance between them,very likely the prisons will end up going the way of care homes by acting too late imo.

All who really know is probably the govenor and v top mangement,no one else,very slow to adapt even the simple thermometer test with coming and going for staff and inmates i believe.

I don't think many law abiding citizens will be to concerned. Give them food and water, keep them locked up they'l be ok. They will be safer inside and so will we.
