UBLE, the all black guns are ILLEGAL, the two tone are 'airsoft/bb. which you cannot discharge in public. The alarm and distress could have in itself caused an accident

i grew up just outside chatham, its a sh1thole now and it was back then. chatham is considered the home of the  word 'chav' which is thought to be a shortening of the romany word chavvy. sadly, being decorated with lots of tattoos, dripping with gold and being a foul mouthed,loud herbert is considered de rigueur for a significant proportion  of the local population (male and female alike). i have vague memories of laughing at dickens mentioning some of the locals of kent when i read great expectations. chatham may well have been a sh1thole all the way back then too.

if kent is the garden of england then the medway towns are often considered the compost heap at the bottom of the garden.

not really inner city style sh1t but something a bit backward about a few of the locals, it can be a bit rough. i imagine this chap will be donning some rather less colourful attire for the next few years.

no one has ever approached me to become tourism director for medway, i dont know why.

The 33-year-old shouted wildly from his top-floor flat, letting off shots inside his home before heading out onto his private walkway to do the same. 

His Instagram profile - which has now been taken down - listed him as the CEO of the record label. Companies House says that the record chief's real name is Michael Alunomoh.

Injera - yes, I dared to question the value of the Cultural Enrichment of Kent (including Chatham, once home to some bloke called Charles Dickens) offered by Gangsta Rap, and the filth it has spawned. A pertinent question I believed, particularly in the light of the outrageous scenes this morning.

My posting lasted at most 30 minutes before persons unknown decided that I had no right to ask such a question. It clearly did not meet 'Approved Thought' in a land once respected for the freedom of expression.

Maybe the arrested gentleman is exactly the sort of material that Citizen Khan of London Town wants to invest in, rather than these annoying 'victims of crime' types?

I have lived here a long time. We have had drugs and violence long before the good black folk moved in. We still don’t have many black people, more South Asians. Alun can get on his  box all he likes but you are as much likely to get your nose bit off in a fight here by a white man than a black man and I drink with a few of them so please take my word.

I'm sure there will be perfectly plausible and innocent explanation for the truly disturbing events of this morning. Fingers crossed we'll get it from either Stormzy, Dave, or even one bloke called "Charlie Sloth" (no I'm not making this up) who is, I hardly need add, highly respected by The Guardian newspaper.

I wouldn't mind betting that this morning's staggering events will all have been a direct consequence of "Britain's role in the slave trade" hundreds of years ago.

Tbh there is plenty of food everywhere. Queues are pretty short, plenty of toilet rolls, meat and even canned tomatoes!

Alun might be right on this issue though. We are being swamped. I am the only one who doesn’t wear a tracksuit at Aldi. Plenty of Eastern European’s here now

But everybody is well behaved. Nobody really wants to wear one arm sunglasses!

Chatham I think is next to Gillingham, remember Peter Crouch was not too complimentary about people from the region, called them hillbillies

a large number of british towns like the medway versions are mostly horrible nasty violent vulgar and ugly, outside the usually preserved but tiny old centre.

it is an indictment of us all that we specialise in producing such people, what we call chavs but owen jones calls victims of middle-class victimisation and oppression. as ever with her, the truth is the opposite. the 'working class', increasingly an oxymoron, have been degraded and vulgarised by excessive welfare and state intervention that has left a significant minority helpless and hopeless

Once when Henry VIII was abroad he tried cherries for the first time.  He liked them so much he had some cherry trees dug up and brought back to England.  They were planted in Kent.  When they produced cherries, Henry tried them and declared they were as good as the cherries he'd first tried abroad.  He went on to call Kent the 'Garden of England'.  New cars registered in Kent have the prefix letter 'G' for 'Garden' instead of the perhaps more-expected 'K' for 'Kent'.  Kent itself is named after the Celtic tribe that lived in those parts; a rare placename throwback to Celtic times.

grappler, have you ever been to chatham? nothing to do with the excessive welfare state and too much intervention, the people are hapless and hopeless by both birth and choice. chatham has likely been a sh1thole since dickens time, maybe even before. your pseudo bs really isnt needed, thanks all the same. i fear you take yourself far too seriously, you really are a frightful bore.
