is apparently objecting to taking a 12% pay cut at Arsenal .He is on £350,000 a week ,absolutely scandalous ,premier league footballers and their obscene salaries ,they really need to be taken down a peg or two .

What people don't seem to realise is that after tax and he's paid his agent, he's probably only left with £150k.

The owner of the Arsenal franchise is estimated to be worth 10 billion USD. Taking a pay cut in the EPL doesn't make sense with super rich owners everywhere.

You have to remember that these franchise owners are in the EPL to either do sports whitewashing (oil princes) or to ruthlessly milk the British public for everything they have (Kroenke & Co.)

Why is ozil taking all the heat for players?  Sanchez and De Gea earn more.  On the field Sanchez is even more useless than ozil. What about the English lads like sterling, kane and rashford who also earn a fair whack? What are they sacrificing?

Because Ozil has always been the scapegoat at Arsenal.

Thought all this forum was meant to be fiscal conservatives and believers in the free market instead of jealous far leftists who want to take money from people of means

football as usual still with its head in the clouds. unlikely to be any gate money until 2021 at the earliest. gonna have to be massive cuts all over the shop and not useless deferrals

I fear the BEEB and SKY , may loose a lot of money , when Direct Debits  start Bouncing their's will be top of Many list's ....

I will miss the "WORLD SERVICE" Sad I would actually consider A very small monthly fee to keep

that Going ,News reports "UNBIASED" .. unfortunately the rest of the BEEB has become mainly rancid and

Luvified , GARBAGE , no doubt our friends on here will dig deep to pay extra to keep it going ..

Yes "FISCAL" would cover asking why Tw@ts are being paid millions to kick a football around ...

The entertainment industry at least for top earners is one of the most redistributive back to the workers. Anyway, the correct solution here is to tax Ozil at a higher rate than now and Kroenke at an even higher one Excited
