Compared to the enormous costs of the logistics involved in fighting Covid-19 - including furloughing workers, Increased BENEFIT CLAIMS etc - and - the LOSS of REVENUE from such as VAT, FUEL TAX etc - it is/will be infinitesimal
In fact - the Governments will more than likely, be far worse off in the long term - and would definitely prefer the Pandemic to NOT have happened. You - "do the maths" - irishman. |
