Surely the whole world wanting PPE at the exact same time is going to affect supply.
As for counting the dead properly, this is what I don't understand, exactly how many people have died directly from the virus with no underlying health issues at all? How many people in total have had it written on their death certificate that Covid-19 was solely responsible? |

Ireland is reporting 'probable' Covid deaths now, in line with WHO recommendations. Not many countries do this.

Ireland are very transparent in their figures,around 50% of them (currently 1190 RIP) are care/nursing homes.
Simply as a comparison i would use 600 x 14(to get population)= 8,400 against 21,000 UK hospital deaths ie about 40%. As an aside i know someone who uses an electronic barrier to get their car into work carpark(UK), i said to them in mid March let mangement know the risk of pressing the numbers in,it was only yesterday the barrier was left up. Criminal! |

when they say 100,000 tested,does that mean just been swabbed or 100,000 a day getting their results,i do know that early in this crisis some were being swabbed but the capicity wasnt there to check them all in the labs

That is an easy one Irishone,in common with the rest of the world the UK were ill equipped with tests and PPE,you had the tory brexit party giving brexit spiel with working 24/7,unprecedented measures blah blah,the reality was there wasn't a testing/ppe pot to phish in.

No, anyone on here that mentioned planes,tubes etc in March on here were accused of being remainers,liberal left,labour when in fact they had no affiliation but were pointing out mistakes were being made.
