Perhaps he has done nothing wrong, please don't presume any guilt, a bad trate we humans do judge.

Slight overkill if he's done nothing..3 ambulances 8 cars and 3 vans now.  I was only gone a week and the place has gone mental..the people walking around ranting to themselves was shocking

Yes....I was going for a walk 2 days back....residential area....turned a corner and there was an woman  walking towards me, I was on the left (naturally) 0.3 metres from a hedge, path was 3 metres wide, she was startled and jumped a metre to her left,

I said " I'm not contagious ! "

She (now 5 metres past me) shouted, "You should keep your distance !"

I couldn't move more left .....I think what triggered her was my foot went into a divet as I tuned the corner so I jinked a bit.....she must have thought I was about to try and acquaint her with our friends corona !

You should have told her, "I always walk this way, and a Leopard can't change its spots" Grin

>Irrational behaviour can become dangerous and collective very quickly

Reminds me of a twilight zone episode - "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlHSD6uo7Mk

Closing narration

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices...to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill...and suspicion can destroy...and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own – for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Almost definitely domestic violence...just see a woman whisked away by plod and a man calm now smoking a tab surrounded by cops...and into the van he goes

I'm a volunteer board member of a local charity that works to alleviate, amongst other things, homelessness and domestic violence.
Sadly, it will come as no surprise to learn that the requests for help in regard to domestic violence have increased during the lockdown.

Off course the male in the back off the van, he has to be the guilty one, men can't be victims of domestic abuse can they? Always surprises me how the male is always seen as the aggressor when quite simply not true.
