In 2003 a study was done on turkey's .Scientists released infected house flies who were injected with a strain of corona into a pen of healthy turkey's ,3 our of 12 turkeys caught the corona.

The more flies they released the more turkeys caught the corona strain.

now we know why contact testing is so important.
