I noticed following on from the lack of social distancing outside Bristol hospital they failed again on London Bridge clap this week...

London's mayor has expressed concern after videos appeared to show police failing to observe social distancing rules.
Met officers were filmed taking part in the 'Clap for Carers' on a crowded Westminster Bridge on Thursday.
"While many people adhered to social distancing guidance, it appears that some did not," the Met said.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan said it was "not unreasonable" for the public to query how this could happen.
The Met added: "We regularly remind our officers of the importance of social distancing, where practical."
However, a video posted by Damir Rafi appeared to show many police and members of the public ignoring the regulations.

Police have launched an investigation after an officer was filmed threatening to “make something up” in order to arrest a man.
Footage of the incident, shared online, shows a young man protesting that he’s “done nothing wrong” as the unnamed police officer confronts him. The man, believed to be from Accrington, Lancashire, said he was out picking up a quad bike he’d just bought when he was pulled over by police on Friday afternoon. In the video, he can be heard saying: “You’re harassing me, what for? I’ve done nothing wrong.” The officer then squares up to him – failing to keep a two-metre distance – and shouts: “Sit in your car and shut up.” He uses expletives while adding: “I’ll lock you up… I’ll make something up… who are they going to believe, me or you?” The following day, Lancashire Police apologised for the officer’s “completely unacceptable” behaviour and language and said they would be conducting an investigation. Chief Constable Andy Rhodes said in a statement: “The footage shows language and behaviour from one officer which were completely unacceptable and for this I apologise without reservation. “We recognise the impact that this behaviour will have had, both on the young man concerned, and on the hard-earned trust and confidence of the wider public, particularly the comments about making offences up. “It only takes one incident like this to undo the hard work of so many.” |

“We recognise the impact that this behaviour will have had, both on the young man concerned, and on the hard-earned trust and confidence of the wider public, particularly the comments about making offences up. “It only takes one incident like this to undo the hard work of so many.” Firstly , Chief Constable Andy Rhodes , this 'hard earned trust' of which you talk is no longer held by many of the public whom you serve and secondly and most shamefully this is not just 'one incident , but one of many such 'incidents' the vast majority of which are not caught on camera and therefore , as quite correctly pointed out by the officer , "who are they going to believe ?" is a very reliable default which has undoubtedly resulted in many unsafe convictions . |

This has now surpassed speed cameras as the filths no1 cash-cow !  If it's 'non-essential' then why are the shelves stocked with them all priced up ?  |

My father took a turn for the worse on Friday (severe chest pains) . We were told to prepare for the worst but he's fighting and is currently stable . He's tested positive for COVID-19 , yet has shown none of the flu-like symptoms and was in self-isolation for 4 weeks prior so clearly this positive test is total bs .

Sorry to hear that. The fact he tested positive is worrying as I have heart and chest problems and have hardly been anywhere near another person for five weeks. Seems strange that people who have stuck rigidly to the rules are testing positive.

How does he test positive for the virus if he has isolated for 4 weeks? Are we 100% sure these tests are accurate given the number of people who are asymptomatic and most of the symptoms are same as flu? |

Did the hospital have any answers to him testing positive. These are the questions journalists should be asking at the daily briefing. They ask the same stupid questions every day.

The swab that tested positive was taken by the paramedics at home on Monday before he was taken to hospital so any viral infection cannot be attributed to contamination whilst in hospital . I've said a number of times prior to the events experienced by my father that the coronavirus test is detecting something that is not COVID-19 and the last week has , in my opinion , confirmed this belief .

Injera - All the people who get the virus , any virus/disease , have to have the same symptoms . This is a medical fact , a requirement that has to be met for a diagnosis . This is being completely ignored in the case of the current plandemic (sic) referred to as coronavirus or COVID-19 . Why ?

Not a good look for the police – breaking social distancing rules by surrounding him and wrongly shouting at a journalist to go home.We don’t know why the police were talking to a woman and her dog in Finsbury Park, North London. But one journalist who tried to find out was harassed and threatened with a fine by the coronavirus coppers. The best part might be when one copper asks Michael Segalov for his “credentials”. It’s journalism and free speech, officer, you don’t need any. |
