ok,this is how i see it,and its only my opinion.
The UK government were advised not to bother contact testing ,in fact they were advised not to worry about testing by scientists because they had a plan.
The plan was to carry on when corona hit the uk and keep every business open to keep the economy floating.
they decided to do this and used contact testing from other countries for they information.
their big plan was to ride out the corona storm for 5 or 6 weeks and then they knew they could Antibody test people who had caught the virus and recovered.
after they got the people who were immune to the virus they could start dividing antibodies through blood transfusion to everyone and all or most would be immune.
the perfect plan.Even our mate Matt placed an order for 17 million antibody testing kits and bought them.
but the plan back fired when it was discovered that Corona had returned in some people and increased in numbers a few days ago.
Now the UK(and America i may had)have no contacting testing done and have no idea of the rate or speed of the infection, or how its spreading in their own country.
So its back to day one from tomorrow for the UK and contact testing will start.
IT simply means that the UK closed the gates when the horses had bolted,and now they are left with 17 million antibody testing kits that will not tell them the information they need to open the lockdown.
THEYare up sh1t creek without a paddle.IMVHO.

Wait until tomorrow and i bet Matt will be telling everyone about his plans to ramp up contact testing everywhere.
