My next-door neighbours are a herd of Holstein Friesians and a very tall hedge.

I suspect they all ignored it. I was walking the dog.

Was walking down the road at the time. Yes, maybe 25 to 30 per cent of houses. Old and young, Black, White and Asian (and one firework). Went on for about five minutes. One family could not go back in at the end until the youngest girl had a go on the saucepan and wooden spoon.

Noisy neighbours. Find it quite odd.

Reminds me of when holidaymakers clapped when the plane landed.

About 30-40%

For me it's more about the sense of community and being able to give the thumbs up to neighbours who you might not see the rest of the week.

The Frontline NHS staff, carers, delivery drivers, postmen, shelf-stackers, bus drivers.....all deserving praise for keeping the show on the road.

'The NHS' however is a shambolic mess and as soon as this is over, needs a Royal Commission to assess its fitness for purpose in the 21st century

maybe 10%

Every week is devaluing it. Once a month would be better

Manoleeds, people still clap when the plane lands in Madeira, it is a very dangerous and tricky place to land situated in between mountain and ocean with notorious high speed wind,i love it there and have a good friend there on the board of Maritimao..but i have to take meds for the old ticker now.So yes i do lead clapping.

Not a single person across the road clapped. Miserable buggers. It is a cemetery though.
