Steve has a point, though maybe not the one he is making. Fly tipping where I live in a lovely area of Surrey is shocking, but then lovely areas in surrey produce some of the worst rsoles in the country. I'm not proud.

Typical sarky reply from Angoose.As you rightly say Steve absolutely no reason why the recycling centers should not be open...same as garden centers and DIY stores...madness and it most certainly has not been thought through properly by the powers that be.

Bin collections fine round my way, garden centres and DIY stores also open, I was round at B&Q just this afternoon. Is there anything you need, always glad to help

my local sainsburys has a recycling centre the local tip is a mile or 2 away so i suppose people who have loaded their car without checking there open then find there shut drive to sainsburys dump what they can in the bins then leave the rest even though its filmed and signs stating no fly tipping

Same here. Ironically the fly-tippers have blocked access to the recycling bins.
