Government fear more from the media than they do people succumbing to the virus.They fear that if they lift the lock down (what is perceived too soon)they will be absolutely slaughtered.Far easier than to sit on their proverbial hands and do nowt, which of course,is what they are doing.It seems to me most of what they've implemented has been written on the back of a **** packet, for instance..why are the DIY and Garden centers closed ?..people indoors need something to do but the gutless mandarins in number 10 are again scared $hitless in case ONE person is traced back to having caught the virus at one of these establishments.Hitchens is spot on.
