The truth is they work harder and for less,it's very simple so there's no such thing as taking back control ever not unless you want to pay higher wages for lower output..Shocked

All about money . My son was working in the wine industry last year in between schooling . All the people he worked with applied this year and the work had gone to imported agency workers . The country is a joke run by jokers .

They are no value to the country . What's the point paying them less money when all the money is taken out of our economy . I knew loads of eastern europeans when I lived in London . They would live three to a room living on pasta then sending their wages back home to set up for their future in their own country . Them and their bosses were the only people earning .

We never said we'd shut the borders we said we'd control the borders.
Probably many of them have worked here before and been proven hard workers who know their job.
These people may well have signed up for this work before corona.
If so, are we supposed to rip up their contracts? I voted Brexit and I'm happy to see them come.
This is yet another none story working people up.

Jesus christ I thought I could be a whinger but some of the people here could turn it into an olympic sport.

Derek Wilkinson, managing director of G's Fresh's Sandfield Farms division, told the BBC that the 150 workers arriving at Stansted from eastern Romania on Thursday will be taken by bus to farms in East Anglia to pick lettuce.

The firm has been working closely with Public Health England around safe transport arrangements and the group will be fully screened on arrival in the UK. Anyone found to have a temperature will be quarantined

Living at G’s

The Lettuce Company, Sussex is located about 10 minutes from the beach at Bognor Regis and is a 10-15 minute walk to a shopping centre with supermarkets and restaurants.

Accommodation is in caravans which sleep up to 6 people. Sad The caravans are self-contained with their own kitchen, bathroom (shower room) and lounge area.

https://gs-recruitment.com/recruitment/seasonal-jobs/living-at-gs/

While 99% of the UK is on lockdown and social distancing in place,

these farmers can flout the law by housing migrants 6 at a time in caravans.

[b]On-site shop and free weekly shuttle bus to local supermarket[/b

Take the virus spreading to the nearby supermarkets then?

I believe Tony Blair should have taken us out the EU in 2001

When countries like Romania were allowed in the EU

Or at least offered this country a referendum so the people could decide
