They did repaint the Abbey Road Zebra Crossing with the lull in traffic.  It is an excellent point.

Lot of stuff they should be getting done but won't start till its cold damp and a 4hr day.

We have the best potholes in the World, why do you want to destroy this wonderful feature of British life?

The thing with potholes is, it's usually the same potholes that are being tended to over and over again, because that's where the join is and where the cracks begin again and where water reenters., contracts and expand when it freezes, roadworkers will tell you that really when treating potholes on a road, it's best to retarmac the whole road instead of just the individual pot holes.
