A pair of sick barstewards not worth spending scarce resources locked up in prison. Surely there must be a more appropriate sentence than locking them up. How about a public justice eg public will vote whether these two continue to belong to society or best dispatch elsewhere not earth?

Media reports of this terrible crime reveal the name of the street where the 'aspiring singer' lived.
By a complete coincidence (obviously), a person of that same name, in that same street, was also before the courts late last year, in connection with a drugs trial. I'm sure it couldn't possibly be one and the same, because we know that 'aspiring singers' would never be involved in such unseemly matters. About that Birmingham Mail link. How do you get to this headline: Atiyyah Gidden and Savannah Ward jailed for almost 20 years after attacking victim when she got of [sic] bus in Bull Street from sentences of 11 and 8 years.
Seriously, how the flip does it make sense to add up the sentences like that? And yes, I know it is a time-honoured practice, but a stupid one. |
