I've just started running again, after my run I had to the shop and then trundle back home (3 mile walk from the shop)
I did this last year and even I'm seeing a changing country I'm not a big social person, I don't work for any company so don't notice that side of it
But last August/September this country was different, its changed already, last year there was no 3 feet rule, there was no sections to pay for your things, there was no glass kiosks surrounding the till, there was no masks and gloves, the people were more laid back, they didn't tell you to stand 2 feet from the glass whilst they scanned your stuff (they do all this now), some shops are now refusing cash (cashless incoming).
This country will never be the same again, we are never going back to how it was before, we are entering a new era and its not a pretty site
And as I've said above, if I've noticed a massive change in mentality and behaviour I'm sure others have noticed it that are out working. They pulled this off within a few weeks.
The bloke who served me today was totally different last year, he would have a laugh and take my cash without wanting to get rid of it like a hot potato
Today he was behind a glass wall, never smiled or said goodbye, had a mask and gloves on and took my tenner like it was ready for disinfecting, very sad times
Bare in mind last year I went into this particular show AFTER a 5 mile run, sweat dried on my brow and starting to need a bath

There's one on my street who is constantly moaning and b*tching about people going out for a walk ffs
"why don't they think the rules apply to them" even though they are allowed and its within the rules.
The young women are the worst for sure There's one on my street who is constantly moaning and b*tching about people going out for a walk ffs "why don't they think the rules apply to them" even though they are allowed and its within the rules.
So many people walking around looking totally terrified. I just dont think these will ever be capable of going back to normal when the lockdown is lifted. Then theres the ones who think this lockdown isnt tough enough. They are really scary as they have lost all sense of reality and would be quite happy if the police were to shoot you for taking a walk.

Normal in that sense hasn't been that since the 1700s, goose
2001 was the start of the new normal we see now, but even before that it was pretty s**** still anyway
People are treated like 5 year olds now, you can't even be trusted to shop for food, they are even holding your hands with that
