I've heard so many stories about fat cats trousering a lot of the money at charities it's hard to donate, I would rather send something physical like new clean cloths or trainers or something.

Go and volunteer your help at a charity, they will be very grateful for your time and you will see for yourself just how committed and dedicated the staff are.

er not doubting the commitment and dedication of staff, I'm talking about those that run charities!

The examples that you may have read will be exceptions, volunteer to be on the board of a small charity and you will see for yourself how it is run.

could be spent on our own charities in this country for our people |

I certainly have no confidence whatsoever in the 'big' charities like Oxfam ,Save the children etc as they employ **** like Brendan Cox of sexual assault infamy who extract large salaries paid for by gullible donors.
Better in my view to restrict giving to small local charities. |
