they still have to 20,000 miles more before they reach there closest point,and the moon will look 15 percent bigger.but even though its called a pink moon but it will not be pink,a perigee moon i am told.

Any Astronomers here? If so what's the bright star/planet in the sky to the north, slightly west,fairly high but not  above. Have had a look and tinternet   saying Venus, it's pretty much the brightest thing moon apart, is this correct?

Fantastically BRIGHT Full Moon, tonight.

Lighting up the full field at the back of my house

What they would have called 'a Bombers Moon' in the Second World War.

Just been looking at it through my 20x50 Binoculars, with Zoom.

Could see a bloke in a white suit struggling with a flag.   Grin
