You can see the clear dip in reported deaths over the last two weekends.

Last week, the reported daily figures for Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue were 260 / 209 / 180 / 381.
Roll forward a week and it has been 708 / 621 / 439 / 786.

Grim, but I suppose 708>786 is more encouraging than 260>381

Since crossing the 100 mark on 18 March (104), the cumulative number has been doubling on average every 3.39 days.
Very similar to Spain, France, and Germany.

Italy was also seeing such a rise up to the 8k mark (3.51), has subsequently slowed, now overall average of 4.67 days.

Only 20 elderly in old peoples homes, that can't possibly be rght the first two deaths where i live were in homes that was on marcch 16th,i thought the numbers were huge in old peoples homes across every country.

Once all of this is over, it's a comparison of total deaths that will be the most revealing.
Report thegiggilo April 7, 2020 5:54 PM BST
So old people are providing most of the deaths but in old peoples homes you are safe as houses in this country and have not got infected, would like somone to explain that compared to other countries..only 15 at home looks odd as well,so virtually o elderly dying at home either..Those figures just look impossible..

what about 400 in Belgium today ? mjust be the highest daily total by a mile considering its small population. would be near 2500 in the UK by comparison Shocked
